John F. Melton, Austin Employment Attorney

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Mr. Melton graduated with a B.A. from the University of Texas in 1996 and The University of San Diego School of Law in 1999. He has been licensed as an attorney in the State of Texas by the Texas Supreme Court since 1999.

Since that time, Mr. Melton has represented hundreds of employees in litigation with their employers and former employers and has developed an excellent reputation in that area, as well as a reputation for handling tougher personal injury cases that he is occasionally referred from former clients or lawyers.

Mr. Melton has obtained numerous verdicts and settlement totaling in the millions of dollars. These cases include numerous overtime class actions lawsuits, age, race and gender discrimination lawsuits, sexual harassment claims, trucking accidents, and other personal injury cases.

Mr. Melton is licensed in federal court in the Western District of Texas, Eastern District of Texas and Southern District of Texas.
